QuickTools project aims to develop few simple and useful extensions for Mozilla, FireBird and ThunderBird. At present QuickTools offers few extensions.

QuickTools

This extension adds few menu items in FireBird and ThunderBird.

• "Calendar" item in "Tools" menu, will allow you to run installed "Mozilla Calendar extension" from the menu
• "Install from URL" item in "Tools" menu to allow Installation of other Themes and Extensions from a URL. A very useful one for Thunderbird

Known Issue: In Thunderbird if you want to upgrade/reinstall "QuickTools", you should disable it first. Hence QuickTools can not be upgraded using install from URL. read more

QuickTools Fixed Pane

This simple extension will stop automatic resizing of folder pane (width) and message list pane (height) while resizing main window of ThunderBird. This will also work for Mozilla Mail and News client.

Once installed, to resize folder or message list pane you have to drag it will mouse.
To temporarily bring back original behavior you can disable the extension.

QuickTools Stop Bookmark

Disables add Bookmark item in the right click context menu in Mozill FireBird. This solve issue of accidently clicking "BookMark This Pages..."

QuickTools Stop Wallpaper

Stops executing set Wallpaper item in the right click context menu in Mozill FireBird (sorry I am unable to disable or hide it from appearing in the context menu). This solve issue of accidently clicking "Set As Wallpaper"

QuickTools TBird About

Adds new "About Dialog" for Mozilla ThunderBird, made to look similar to Mozilla FireBird. Credits to "Will Levine" for publishing the idea and whole code for modifying "aboutDialog.xul" on Thunderbird Forum at MozillaZine.org With out that I would not have made this extension. (ScreenShot)

QuickTools TBird Options

"Resize-Ability is my Birth Right !!!"
Allows you to configure how Tools/Options Screen should appear, like resizable, centered etc.
